Mrs. Gellerstein
I love teaching in Wayland Public Schools! This is my 12th year as a teacher and my 2nd year at Claypit Hill. Along with Kindergarten I have also taught 2nd grade and worked as a Resource teacher. I have taught in Lexington, Belmont, Weston, New York City and New Jersey. I have a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in elementary education and a Master's Degree from Bank Street College of Education in early childhood special education. Outside of school I love spending time with my family, reading, cooking and taking walks. I live in Hudson with my husband and two children, Josh and Lily.

This is my fourth year as a kindergarten teaching assistant in Wayland! I absolutely love working with this age group and it has inspired me to get my master's at Framingham State University in special education. When I'm not working, I love hanging out with my family, friends, and taking long walks with my dog, Apple. My other passion is traveling and I try to do that as much as I can. Last year I was fortunate enough to travel down to the Cayman Islands and Cuba.
